Cholent Kiddush

cholent

After Davening on the third Shabbat of every month there is a cholent kiddush in the communal hall for all those in attendance.

What is a cholent kiddush? It is a sit down kiddush with the regular food of crackers, herring, vegetables, salads and chumus, which is then followed by a Cholent specially cooked for the occasion by the Rabbi.

All this together in a warm atmosphere interspersed with l'chaim's on whisky or vodka, songs and insights on the meaning of being Jewish.

Started in 2004 the cholent kiddush has a core of followers. It is an event not to be missed.
