Lag B'Omer

Depending on the year Lag Bomer is celebrated in Leicester in various ways.

When Lag Bomer is on a Sunday the community gets together for an afternoon of fun. Pitot, falafel, salads, archery, badminton, a bonfire, a football match , and lots more are on the program.

Held in one of the larger gardens of a member of the community fun is had by all.

When Lag Bomer is during the week a BBQ is held at the Rabbi's house for the students, young adults and the teenagers of the community. While munching on burgers and hotdogs lively discussion ensues on topics of Jewish interest.
