Shavuot Luncheon

Where do you hear the Ten commandments being read on Shavuot?

Over one hundred people come every Shavuot day to the Shul to hear and accept the giving of the torah as it was given over three thousand three hundred years ago.

After davening is over everyone goes over to the communal hall and enjoys a terrific dairy Luncheon, consisting of three courses. First is a hot soup, followed by eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, cheese blintzes and salads. Topped off with cheese cakes and ice-cream for dessert.

After a lot of eating, some singing and an insight or two into Shavuot, everyone sings their way through benching, happy that they were part of this wonderful communal event.
